I’m a Hilton gold member. This is not what I expected. The hotel was just okay. The menu was too simple. I would not revisit. The reception takes long to answer phone to dispatch to room service or house keeping. I arrived at 10am no rooms were available I left my number so they can call me when my room was ready I did not receive a call. I checked after 5 only to be put in a room over looking a dumpster alley. I called down she told me no more king available I can downgrade to a queen I went down and was taken care of by Michael. He was the only one who greeted me with a smile and was helpful I was immediately changed to a king room with a view even after I was told no rooms were available. I left my room on day 2 at 10am left the light on for the room to be serviced came back at 4 my room was not cleaned. Called down they said the rooms are not cleaned until after 5. I asked for washcloths never received. The internet is a joke. This is a disgrace to the Hilton name. This is a no for me.

No incluye desayuno pero hay opciones en la misma cuadra.Servicio de playa privada muy bueno !!!. Tiene un Gym pequeño pero con todos los elementos.

Great place to stay, easy beach access, many wonderful, nearby restaurants in every direction. The rooftop pool was beautiful and never too busy with guests. The rooms are stylish, tastefully modern with a comfortable mattress. We would have to agree with several reviews about the room not having a table or chair and very little space plus a very small closet to hang clothes. Regardlessly, we would plan to stay here again in the future.

Después de una muy desagradable estadía la semana pasada, tuve que volver porque tenía otra reserva propagada. Llegue al hotel y nuevamente tuve problemas. No encontraban la reserva por error de ellos y me hicieron esperar 1 hora para entregarme la habitación que tenia reservada y pagada. El recepcionista Campbell ni se preocupó en colaborar y luego ante mi queja solo se disculpó simbólicamente. La semana pasada además me dieron una habitación usada, sin limpiar y luego de resistirse a reconocer el problema me demoraron 2 horas para darme otra habitación limpia.

Hermoso hotel Boutique. Todos los detalles bien cuidados. La habitación pequeña pero moderna y hermosa. El hotel te cobra un fee Resort que te incluye playa privada con reposeras, toallas y sombrillas pagando a parte. Le ubicación excelente!! En el medio de todo. We stayed at the gale for 3 days an enjoyed it all the way. The good thing is that it is a comfortable hotel close to the beach where you will get personal attention from all the staff. Another thing worth mentioning is the good service at the pool has some great cocktails while relaxing.When back in Miami will definitely stay there again

Fab Art Deco style hotel in the heart of South Beach. Great location, a stones throw away from Ocean Drive and the beach. Fernando on the reception desk was so lovely and helpful - a true asset to the hotel. The rooftop pool is a perfect way to escape from the Miami heat. The breakfast options were a bit limited, and breakfast food not the best, but other than that it was a great stay.

First, let me say the hotel itself is a classic beauty and definitely fits the Art Deco Miami theme. Fernando was amazing and the service is exceptional.. But for a family, the shower with a clear sliding door and the water closet being unable to fully close and lock isn’t functional for our needs- great for couples, but not for a family. And if they’re gearing strictly for singles or couples, hey, I get it. Beautiful hotel, great service ..only a couple modifications away from absolute greatness.

Great location.Staff is friendly and the restaurant has great food and service.My only request is that the rooms really need a desk, even if a tiny one (the rooms are small).In today's reality, many of us need to do some work when we travel.I was a bit surprised to see there was a bed and that's it, no other furniture.Please consider adding a small desk and chair for those of us who can't escape work.

5 Star service. Excellent Stay! Had a wonderful time at The Gale. Diamond Member room upgrade was fantastic. Any little issues were swiftly dealt with to our complete satisfaction. Thank you to the front desk and the entire team. Special mention to Diana and her team for constant communication with us during our stay - the right way to use the Hilton messenger system. Our only issues - resort fees, we had three days of rain and could not use the beach or pool areas so would have liked to have those waived/refunded, but other than that. No complaints and highly recommended. NOTE: Most of the bathrooms in the rooms are "open" so if your stay requires privacy when someone is showering, as for a room with a door to the bathroom :)

This hotel was amazing! It is close enough to the south beach art deco area to enjoy but not have to deal with the late night noises. The hotels rooftop pool was amazing and you can see the ocean from it. The beach is literally across the street. They offer free bikes as a part of the resort fee. The staff was professional, personable and very accommodating and friendly. The bathroom LOVE, the robe and slippers LOVE, the hotel decor LOVE!!! Fernando at the front desk was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Kayla was so friendly, we chatted like we have been friends forever, lol. This hotel and location exceeded expectations!

Great service from the staff. Loved the roof top pool, nice views. Double queen bedroom was tiny, had no storage or privacy. The shower was across from the entrance door, which makes no sense. Not ideal for a family, too small, no privacy. Would definitely visit again alone or with my partner.

Nice clean rooms. Wish the pool area was a little bigger but the beach is a block away. Great location. Walking distance to several restaurants. There is a cute restaurant on-site as well. This is a great family hotel. We rented a car, but honestly, we didn't need to. Everything is 5-25 minutes away, walking distance. Had to edit my rating. Fire alarm went of 2x in the middle of the night. No one called our rooms or made an announcement it was a false alam. The next morning because we were so tired from being up due to the hotel's alarm, we requested an extension and was only give an hour. We were told to come to the front desk to update the keys. Was in line for 30 minutes, only for the keys not to work. Went to the front desk again, had to wait another 30 minutes but this time the key worked in the elevator but not the room, luckily a maid was around to let us in. The other folks we were with also requested an extension on checkout because they were tired and sick, only to have someone from the hotel knock on the door several times disrupting their sleep. I also requested valve bring my car 30 minutes before checkout only to wait in the hot sun an additional 30 minutes. This place started out strong but I won't be back due to all the headaches in the end.

It's probably the norm in Miami beach to have the old buildings try to act like new properties, but it almost never works. This was a 500 a night room in early April, the location to the beach was fantastic and the people were nice and helpful, but goodness, what a small and sparse room. Pictures decorated the wall above the headboard ( the wall you can't see when in bed). We had 3 in our room with our daughter and wife and I in 2 queen beds. There wasn't any other furniture in the room and the most odd thing, clear glass showers and a mirror you could see both into the sleeping area and the bathroom area. ZERO privacy to take a shower. I could see this working in a king room, but 2 queens? The bathroom was nice, the beds were comfortable and the pictures were cool, the other 3 walls looked like Motel 6. As a Hilton Diamond member, probably not a property I will return to.

Top notch Art Deco hotel with everything you need. There is a rooftop pool that is heated to the perfect temperature with a sea view, cocktail bar, inside & outside restaurant, gym, bikes to ride and sister Hotel use of beach chairs and towels. Amazing beds, pillows, bedding and black out curtains. Short walks to the famous Ocean Drive, Miami Convention Center, next to Botanical Gardens, near to Miami South Beach, lots of restaurants, etc.

We loved our time at the Gale! Excellent location close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Amazing roof top pool! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Choosing where to go and what to do in South Beach can be overwhelming, Sandy and Victoria were so helpful in pointing us in the right direction! We were celebrating a 30th birthday, and Victoria was nice enough to arrange a little surprise for us. We’ll be back!

Honestly, my boyfriend and I were on a different planet in this hotel. From the moment we stepped inside we were in love. The design, the attention to detail, even the SMELL is amazing! I actually bought a candle for him because it reminded me of the smell of the Gale. This hotel made us so happy, I think it’ll be hard for us to pick anything else when we come back to South Beach. In fact, the Gale will be the reason we do come back.Amazing location. Bubbly staff. So much going on in one tucked away building! The rooftop pool is a dream. There’s bars and patios and sitting areas tucked all around this hotel, and because covid has limited their staff these places are open for you and your company to just relax in. A whole rooftop bar seating to yourselves- without the drinks but the view is amazing and there’s so much room to do whatever you want in- it would be an ideal place for a group travel like family or a bachelorette.The location is prime- don’t underestimate the fact that is not directly on the beach. The partner hotel that you get your beach club through is just an opportunity to see more of South Beach and it’s beautiful architecture and night life. It’s nice to go back to your cozy corner across the street after all that south beach excitement. Seriously it’s right in the middle of everything but feels secluded the way the trees and building are placed.We didn’t get a chance to have dinner at the restaurant but we did have some espresso and it was amazing. I didn’t know something as simple as espresso could be so satisfying.The aesthetics of everything were grand. Marble floors, marble shower, the finishes, the black and white frames. The light fixtures!! You don’t realize how much these things add to your experience until you are experiencing it.Worth every dollar.I miss this place. It was our little luxury but cozy home for 3 nights.

Has a nice rooftop pool and bar, that always has a good vibe and not to busy! And connected with the Shelbourne you get access to the beach amenities which is fantastic. Close to the shops, beach and some great bars! What’s not to like?

Great location, we were able to walk to ocean ave and the main strip where all the restaurants and bars are. The hotel is beautifully decorated and there is a nice Italian restaurant called dolce where they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. You can rent bikes for the day for free and they have beach club access where you can get a chair setup with umbrellas ($22 charge) and they have a waiter with full service at the beach for drinks and food. I would stay here again!

Our trip to the Gale for NYE was the perfect example of Hilton excellence!The property is spectacular.The attention to detail is amazing, especially the pictures of old Miami Beach.We stayed in room 320, a king terrace, after receiving a room upgrade for the Diamond status.It was superb, modern, and clean in every way.The rooftop pool is fabulous too, but a pro tip - arrive early to select the best chairs.The service was friendly and beyond compare.The GM sent a personal text before arrival with a welcome and way to direct any requests we had so they could be immediately addressed.And indeed that is exactly what happened.Whether it was extra capsules for the Nespresso or towels at the pool, the response was instant and with pleasure.The front desk staff were outstanding as well.Even the lad that assisted us with the complimentary bikes took the time to suggest the best bike routes for Miami Beach.The NYE hats and party favors were a very nice touch.The restaurant was divine.We had breakfast and dinner, and both were exquisite.And their service was equally impressive and exceptional.The general atmosphere of the Gale is the icing on the cake.The vibe, the romantic personality, the essence of the Gale are incomparable.It is a true boutique hotel.We felt like we were at an art deco hotel in its prime - because we were.Simply wonderful all around.We look forward to returning to Miami Beach and the Gale very soon!

The hotel is in a great location, has friendly enough staff, and has nice shared facilities and outdoor cafe. However, the rooms themselves are not very convenient. The closet is tiny and there are only two hooks to hang towels on. Worse yet, the shower stall is right across from the front entrance with no privacy guard and the mirror has openings through it so that anyone in the bedroom area has view of someone coming out of the shower. Might be ok for couples, but definitely awkward for someone traveling as a family. However, these are minor inconveniences we could have put up with because of the location. What prompted this review is the spotty room service. Upon checking in, we were told that first two nights did not qualify for room service and that’s fine. On the third day no one came. On the fourth, we pressed the room service button next to the door, which lit up, but we were later told doesn’t work and that we will definitely get room service the next day. On the fifth day, room service still didn’t come and we explicitly asked for it. We were told no problem, we will send someone right away, but the lady who came left coffee stains on the floor (not ours) and forgot half the toiletries and towels. We really expected better service for the price we were paying, hence this negative review.

Não fique nesse hotel Os hóspedes são tratados como lixo. Tratam os estrangeiros com descaso, os recepcionistas se acham e não tem o mínimo de instrução. Nos colocaram num quarto horrível praticamente dentro de onde guardam o material de limpeza. A entrada do hotel pelo restaurante totalmente sem cabimento. O hotel não dispõe de estacionamento, a não ser que esteja disposto a pagar 42 dólares por dia. Eles não tem nada disponível, a não ser que dinheiro surja! Pior experiência! Horrível! Considere ficar em outro hotel.

Zero privacy and the room was the size of a shoe box. Absolutely the worst Hilton property we have ever stayed at. The minute you walk in the room you’re greeted by the shower. (The picture is the view from immediately walking in the door)There is no table, sitting area, chair, desk or anywhere to put luggage. It’s literally a bed. The toilet door did not close or latch shut. The pillow cases were dirty with blood stains and there were small black dots on the duvet cover. The staff swiftly changed them out but it didn’t leave a good first impression. The only and I mean ONLY upside to this place is the location as it’s in the heart of the south beach. We would never stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

South Beach isn't what it once was, and this hotel remains a shade of a more elegant and tasteful past. Rooms are not designed for comfort, they are designed for weekend parties on South Beach. The restaurant is decent, and the staff is friendly, but please do not book expecting luxury. A well decorated lobby doesn't make up for the ill-comforting rooms. Be aware that the showers may not have privacy doors or curtains. This may be a bonus weekend hook-up couples, but married couples would be wise to look elsewhere. If booking through the Hilton Honors app, you will not be greeted with these facts, it seems they are purposefully hiding their strange accommodations.

We loved our stay at Gale South Beach. Getting the Queen terrace was worth the extra money. The pool was gorgeous. The 4th floor outdoor bar is closed due to COVID but we were allowed to grab a pizza and eat our lunch over in the 'closed' dining area for a quiet lunch! We had date night dinner at the restaurant and everything was exceptional. The caesars we ordered as side salads before dinner were huge & could have been split for 2. He got the lemon chicken, I got the steak w/ brussel sprouts and we ate it all. Huge wine menu, & good size dessert portion too! Grab coffee in the morning by the entrance, strong ice coffee for a great price! Would definitely visit again!

If I could give zero stars I would. My boyfriend got us a room here while booking we were looking at the pictures posted on the site. They looked real nice the lady on the phone was telling us how we would have a beautiful view of the beach and how it was one of the best rooms they have. At arrival we were already disappointed. We did not have a beach view the room was very small and the couches on the balcony have holes all over. For a 600 dollar room we expected way more. When we talked to the front desk they simply told us no refunds. Very unprofessional

As a Hilton Honors Gold Member, I was less than impressed with this property. They offer “valet” in the rear of the hotel where you’re instructed to leave the car on the side of the road and bring the keys inside. The only problem is, the rear entrance was closed for a “private event” and the only entrance is all the way around the building and through the main entrance. The main entrance to this hotel is through their restaurant Dolce which is the most awkward ordeal dragging all your luggage through the middle of a restaurant and up two small flights of stairs to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk was unwelcoming and quite rude. He was unable to locate our reservation, although I provided him a confirmation number and booked directly with Hilton via telephone. The guest room itself was underwhelming to say the least. The windows looked across an alley and directly into other hotel rooms. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the hallway. Our room backed up to a maid closet that was utilized at all hours of the day where the door was constantly slammed shut. The bathroom toilet water would either constantly run or not flush at all. Good luck if you want to visit the beach, you have to hike down the street and across traffic.All around this property is not worth the stay and we will definitely not be back. The only thing this place has going for them is their location.

Amazing trip - super location. Great decor. The smell of this hotel was amazing. Sandalwood lemongrass- unforgettable!!! -and Manager Kevin was really on the ball making sure everything functioned well from the roof pool music under water to the glass of bubbly on check in. Can’t believe this is a Hilton hotel- really had a super boutique vibe. Rooms on the smallish side but on par for price and the rest of South Beach. Access to Beach Club nearby was a seriously amazing perk. Location location location!!!

Fabulous hotel. We have stayed at other hotels in Miami, and this has been the best by far. The hotel is 1 block from the beach, and its a easy walk. Rooms were super clean, and I LOVED the comforters. The room also didn't smell damp or musty, which is something we have encountered at other hotels in the area. When we checked in, we were greeted by Alexandra, who was so lovely. We received a complementary glass of champagne from her, and she was able to help us with our plans for day. Every time we saw her she greeted us by name with a big smile. She made our stay at the hotel so lovely.

Beautiful property, with awesome staff, all of them. The room was clean and comfortable. Rooms are not huge, but modern and comfortable. The location is perfect. Close to shopping, the beach and the Fillmore. Chose this location for that reason and was not disappointed at all. The quintessential urban hotel; coffee on the terrace or the sidewalk gives you such a wonderful sensation of being a part of the vibrant Miami Beach happenings. Opted for the included breakfast. Selection was not huge, but the quality made up for that. Would I go there again? Definitely.... would I recommend the property? Definitely. Had a really lovely time.

Me encantó absolutamente todo!! El personal es muy amable y servicial , el hotel se encuentra en una zona muy cercana a tiendas , a la Lincon Road, a Ocean Drive y esta a una cuadra de la playa. Pasé mis 15 años en este hotel y todos se portaron excelentes conmigo. Les recomiendo totalmente este hotel, el personal es excelente, el desyuno es completo, la ubicación esta en el corazón de Miami Beach.

Fui maltratada por el personal vespertino de recepcion.Me llamaron por telefono para decirme de muy mala manera que tenia que abandonar el hotel. Ante mi protesta de que yo habia abonado hasta el dia siguiente, lo verificaron. Tenia razon yo. Conclusion no se trata de mala manera a un huesped jamas y menos cuando el error lo comete un empleado.

Ja jaja el estaba muy borracho entonces le tuve q caminar a su cuarto de Collins y Española way.
